General Information: Kombucha is
actually a health beverage made from tea, sugar and
a Kombucha mushroom, or culture.
Medicinal Uses: Kombucha tea has
earned many monikers -- including Miracle Fungus and
Cure-all -- based on the wide range of ailments it
supposedly can tackle. It's not that it so much tackles
specific illnesses, but that it helps to boost the
body's immune system and enable it to better fight
sicknesses. Specific ailments it seems well suited
for include joint problems and yeast infections.
