General Information: Grows in the
southern US up to New England.
Medicinal Uses: Often referred to
as the Chinese herbal Prozac, mimosa seems to be able
to instill calm in an individual without some of the
inherent problems that kava seems to contain. Both flowers
and bark are used, although the flowers seem to be the
most potent. Some ailments that it targets include anxiety,
insomnia, depression and similar conditions. |
