Therapeutic Touch

Therapeutic Touch therapy operates on the belief that a unversal life force energy flows through our bodies, and when we are ill or injured, that force is disrupted. Therapeutic Touch practitioners can restore this balance simply by passing their hands over a patient's body. That's the claim anyways, and it actually does have quite a few studies that back it up, although religioustolerance.org notes that "... no study has shown it to be more effective than an untrained but caring empathic individual aimlessly waving their arms over a patient."
