One way, which should not come as a huge surprise, is to use the burn plant aloe.

When you buy gel or lotion with aloe, check that the only, or main, ingredient is actually aloe. Other substances in the product could irritate a sunburn. Apply the aloe-based lotion or gel every hour until pain diminishes. Use on other areas of the skin that might be dry or irritated.
