Satyananda yoga's primary emphasis is inner awareness, but
beyond that, pretty much anything goes. Like viniyoga, this
"gentle" form of yoga is a very flexible form that
can be individualized so that practitioners can pick and choose
between a wide variety of yoga types, be it hatha, kharma, bhakti...
etc. Essentially it allows one the ability to pick and choose
from a variety of yogic "forms" to create an individual
"package" that leads to a better alignment of body,
mind, emotions and spirit.
